HaiSea Training Sponsorship
HaiSea is committed to providing local employment opportunities, and to achieve this objective it is offering a Marine Education and Training Sponsorship Program (the “Sponsorship Program”). The Sponsorship Program will provide successful candidates with financial support for certified training toward becoming a Deckhand, Mate, Master, or Engineer from a recognized marine education institution. This will allow them to start or further grow their career within the marine industry – and specifically, we hope, with HaiSea Marine!
To apply for sponsorship under the Sponsorship Program, please submit your expression of interest to careers@haiseamarine.com

ILWU 400 Indigenous Marine Scholarship
The International Longshore & Warehouse Union (ILWU) Canada recognizes First Nations as the first seafarers on our coast. In recognition of this fact, the Union seeks to assist in breaking down barriers for entry into the marine industry. The ILWU 400 Marine Section Union Development Fund provides two annual scholarships for BC First Nations students wishing to enter the marine industry.
